Tamarind Chicken Wings / AIP

Air fried chicken wings sauced with a citrusy, tangy tamarind sauce, perfect for parties and game day. The tamarind paste and garlic substitutes for the typical nightshade based sauces giving these winds a bite that the whole family will love. Serve with Roadhouse Ranch.

Wings

    • Dry the wings on paper towels
    • Fry in the air frier at 300 degrees for 10 minutes
    • Flip the wings
    • Fry for an additional 10 minutes
    • Flip the wings
    • Fry for an additional 10 minutes (30 minutes total)

    Allow the wings to cool

    • Fry for 5-7 minutes at 400 degrees until crispy with an internal temperature of 165 degrees

    While the wings are frying and chilling, prepare your sauce.

     

  1. Sauce

    • Combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
    • Heat over low heat, stirring until incorporated.
    • Hold until wings have completed final fry

Serve

  1. Serve with Roadhouse Ranch and your choice of garnish (spring onions or celery)
