
Baltimore Crab Cakes / AIP
An AIP compliant spice mix brings these crab cakes to life. Minimal filler and a little horseradish heat takes the diner straight to Baltimore.

- Finely dice onion.
- Finely dice celery.
- Smash avocado into puree.
Mix

- Combine crab meat, New Bay spice, celery, onion, and avocado.
- Add avocado oil and lemon juice.
- Mix gently until combined.
- Add tapioca flour.
- Mix gently until combined.
- Add tiger nut flour.
- Mix gently until combined.
Cook

- Heat avocado oil over medium heat in 10" skillet.
- Form crab mixture into tightly packed patties.
- Cook crab mixture over medium heat until brown and crispy.
- Flip and cook other side until crispy.
- Remove from heat to paper towel.
- Repeat until all mixture is cooked.
Serve with AIP tartar sauce or AIP cocktail sauce, and lemon slices.
